From Her: How To Know If She Wants A One-Night Stand

As we become a stronger, more independent gender, we’re able to take things into our own hands and go after what we want. Sometimes, if you’re lucky, that includes you.

Inevitably, the tricky part is determining if she’s looking for a serious relationship or one-night stand. Thankfully, we’re here to help.

Location is everything.

Unless it’s porn, the girl in the coffee shop isn’t coming back to your car. If you’re looking for a one-night stand, choose a place with dim lighting that serves alcohol. A low-key environment gives her comfort and confidence.

You don’t know her well – or at all.

The girl from work or class probably won’t happen. After a one-night stand, you don’t want to see the person again. If she’s hitting on you, and you know her quite well – she’s probably looking for more than a casual hookup.

She keeps it casual conversation wise.

If she isn’t asking about your family, dreams, goals or personal life – she isn’t interested in anything long-term. Casual conversation about your job and interests confirms you’re not a psychopath before she invites you over.

She’s not staying too close to her girlfriends.

Girls that stick together in public are generally only interested in the company of those friends. If she breaks away from her group, she’s approachable.

She makes the first move or gives you signals to make the first move.

Most girls should be confident enough to initiate things (staring, winking, smiling, etc.). Those three things are indicators of interest. She wants you to approach her.

At the end of the night, she’s not letting you out of her sight.

She’s locked in and doesn’t want you to leave without her. Don’t wait for last-call to discuss splitting a cab. By that point, she’ll be tired of waiting and sending hints. Pull the trigger. If not, there’s always the cute bartender she can fall back on.
